 NEIGHBOROHOOD SPOTLIGHT🏠

🌳 Living in East Hill, Pensacola

East Hill is one of Pensacola’s most charming historic neighborhoods. With tree-lined streets, Craftsman-style bungalows, and a strong sense of community, it’s the kind of place locals love to stroll, sip coffee, and admire classic architecture.

Fun Fact / Local Nugget:
Many of the homes here date back to the early 1900s, and some retain original hardwood floors, built-ins, and cozy front porches perfect for enjoying Pensacola evenings.

Walkable & Connected
East Hill’s tree‑lined streets and grid layout make it easy to walk or bike around. You’re just minutes from local favorites, cafés, and parks — and a short ride (or quick bike trip) to downtown Pensacola’s restaurants and bars.

Parks & Outdoor Life
One of the neighborhood’s anchors is Bayview Park, a waterfront green space along Bayou Texar with picnic areas, walking trails, tennis courts, and even a dog beach — perfect for morning walks, paddle boarding or just unwinding after work.

Local Flavor Around Every Corner
East Hill blends historic charm with everyday convenience. Locals love nearby spots like Angel’s Garden, Brew Ha‑Ha Neighborhood Eatery, and City Grocery, Blackstone Coffee, Nomad Cafe— all places where neighbors bump into each other on weekend strolls.

WINTER OLYMPIANS FROM FLORIDA!!

Erin Jackson (Ocala, FL) — bringing some Florida sunshine to the Winter Games, Erin was chosen as one of Team USA’s flag bearers for the 2026 Milano‑Cortina Opening Ceremony. The speed skater, who cruised to gold in the women’s 500 m at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, is back on the ice and ready to make waves again in 2026.

•Frank Del Duca (Florida native) — hitting the ice and the sled with some Sunshine State flair! Frank, Team USA’s bobsledder and co‑flag bearer alongside Erin Jackson, may have grown up in Maine and trains elsewhere, but his Florida roots are bringing a little coastal pride to the 2026 Winter Olympics.

• Ben Richardson (Miami, FL) — bringing some Miami heat to the ice! Ben is sliding into the Winter Games with Team USA in curling, showing that Florida talent isn’t just for the sun and surf.
