BLUE ANGEL SHOW SCHEDULE 2025 ✈

SAVE THE DATE 🗓️ : America’s favorite flight squadron and P’COLA’s Hometown Heroes, the Blue Angel’s, are scheduled for flight! They will be flying proud for the annual Red, White & Blue’s Pensacola Beach Airshow. You can also catch them in the air across the US in 2025, say, down south in Key West? Up north in Annapolis? Find and follow the 2025 Blue Angels Show Schedule for U.S. dates and information. The 2025 Practice Schedule, local to P’Cola, will be released in February of 2025.

PENSACOLA BEACH LIFEGUARD TRYOUTS 🛟

Lifeguard tryouts at the UWF Aquatic Center are only one week away.

Jan. 25, 2025 at 10am

Tryouts include a 550-yard pool swim in less than 10 minutes + a 1.5-mile run in less than 15 minutes. And, If selected, lifeguards must pass 80 hours of open water training and emergency medical training. Pensacola Beach Lifeguard Tryout instructions on how to apply for the position will be given at tryouts. A lifeguard's primary role is to ensure the safety of people in and around the water. Pensacola Beach Lifeguard’s ~ Keeping Us and our Beach Safe. Thank you for all that you do! Here’s a short list of some of their duties:

Prevent accidents
Rescue swimmers
Provide first aid
Keep areas clean

Educate swimmers
Enforce safety rules
Teach swimming

Pensacola City Received Grant Money to Develop Affordable Housing for Military Personnel & Their Families

The City of Pensacola is to be awarded $608,200 from Florida Commerce through the Defense Infrastructure Grant Program. The program awards government funds for municipal projects that aim to upgrade or expand communities. The City of Pensacola’s project is said to be “deemed to have an impact on the military value of installations within the state”. The goal of the project is to develop property near Naval Air Station Pensacola and provide affordable military housing while fostering economic development in the city.
