Happy Monday, a 97 degree smokin’ hot day with a real feel of 112! Admist the heaat, I -110 will be having a facelift, of sorts. Resurfacing starts the last day of July. The FDOT project completion is not expected until 2026!

The Chamber will host ribbon cuttings for two new businesses and there are several events left this month including Margarita Festival, Alyssa’s Social, and Movies in the Park.

BTW: I’m not saying we should skip work Saturday and sip Margarita’s and eat chips and salsa, but I’m not, not saying that either.

REMINDER* FDOT: Interstate 110 Resurfacing Project 🚧

The Florida Department of Transportation will begin a $7.2 million resurfacing project on Interstate 110 (I-110) from I-10 to U.S. 98, in Pensacola, Thursday, July 31.

Bring your blankets and chairs then spread out on the lawn to watch a family-friendly movie underneath the stars. Pre-show activities begin at 6 p.m. Movies begin at sunset. Bring towels and a change of clothes - 2 waterslides will be open for all guests at no charge! available for purchase subject to availability. Picnic baskets are welcome too, but no pets or glass containers please.
