BLUE ANGELS PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Blue Angels practice season - taking flight over P’Cola! The Blue Angels practice at Naval Air Station Pensacola (NAS Pensacola) take place every Tuesday and Wednesday from March to November. Practice shows usually start around 10:30 AM and last for almost an hour. Be sure to look up and wave when you hear their mighty roar.

  • Pensacola Bay City Ferry: Offers a view of the Blue Angels practicing on the water 

  • Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum: Climb the 177 steps to

    the top of the lighthouse for a bird's-eye view 

GL52 SERIES to compete in PENSACOLA BAY ⛵️ 2025 & 2026

GL52 SOUTHERN SERIES will take place in Pensacola Bay in MARCH! The GL52 Series is a fleet of 52-foot sailboats that race in grand prix events across North America. Mayor Reeves welcomes the is excited for P’COLA to sponsor the races and “put Pensacola on the map as a key sailing destination”. For all the sailers in P’COLA, this is incredibly exciting news and NOW YOU KNOW ✅: The GL52 sailing yachts competing in P’COLA waters is an opportunity you don’t want to miss!

Experience the exhilaration of racing grand prix race boats! The boats are known as Transpac 52s (TP52s) and were originally designed for long-distance races. TP52’s won almost every distance competition race in the early 2000’s including TransPac, Sydney Hobart, Bermuda Race, Chicago to Mackinac. The TP52 racing circuit first began in 2005 and has evolved into one of the world’s leading racing circuits.
