HOP on up in the SADDLE / Spring Trial Riding 🐴🤎

Spring daffodil’s got ya feelin’ one’s oats? Spring Trail Riding is back in season! Escambia County has plenty of options for local horse lovers🐴🤎 to get outside and hit the trails. Spring in NWFL offers fewer bugs, cool days, warm sunshine and greenery all around. Riding the trails by horseback is an experience you won’t ever forget.

OWN YOUR OWN HORSE or PONY?

For those who own a horse or pony, grab your saddle, a horse from the pasture and trailer on over to the Perdido Equestrian Trail. 4 miles of open trails, trailer parking and no ATV’s allowed.

TRAIL RIDING FACILITIES

For those who simply want to hop into a saddle and explore the trails on a trained trail horse or pony, check out Iron Horse Stables or Horse Rides of Pensacola. Both facilities are central to P’COLA and although, they require a days notice, this might be the easiest way to get out on the trails by yourself or in a group.

Equestrians either have a stable lower leg, or stable mental health. The universe doesn’t allow us to have both.- Unknown

Calling all Book Worms! The 2nd Annual Books on the Bay Festival is preparing for a day filled with Stage Performances, Poetry Slams, Pensacola HS Drama, Screen Writing Contests with professional actors, and best selling authors.  Last years event sparked the very 1st Books on the Bay Festival a huge success with 1100 attendees and featured 50 authors. This years event will feature 100 authors both, local and from afar.

Q: How do poets say good bye?

A: I'd like to linger a little longer but it's getting a-liter-ate!
